Gmail now provides new importance functionality in its default web mail interface.

With it, Gmail users can quickly and easily mark emails as more important and less important, and then quickly sort them by importance.

And also the functionality is self-learning and will subsequently assign a marker of importance to your letters, depending on your actions.
